Bob Walt
Bob Walt has more than 20 years of public relations and corporate
communications experience. During that time, he has managed communications
programs on behalf of some of the world's largest, most dynamic
corporations including IBM, Intel, Digital, Hitachi, Citicorp, Control
Data, Fujitsu, Epson, Swiss Bank Corporation, American Brands and
Olivetti. He has developed and implemented highly effective corporate
and product programs for a wide range of hardware, software, and
electronic component suppliers.
Before starting Walt & Company Communications,
Inc. in 1991, Bob was senior vice president/director of Ketchum
Public Relations/Silicon Valley, the high technology office of one
of the leading public relations agencies in the United States. At
Ketchum, Bob was responsible for supervision of all client relations,
program strategy and execution, and profitability for the 30-person
office.
Prior to joining Ketchum, Bob was a vice president
at Booke and Company, New York, from 1982-1987, where he headed
the Booke Technology Group and managed financial and investor relations
programs. Previously, he held communications positions at Daniel
J. Edelman, New York; The Equitable Life Assurance Society, New
York; and McLaughlin & Company, Public Policy Consultants, Washington,
D.C. Bob earned a bachelors degree in journalism and political science
from the University of Michigan and holds a masters degree in communications
from Boston University.
In his spare time, Bob enjoys scuba diving and
cooking.

George Millington
George has more than 10 years of experience in public relations,
marketing and communications. He has extensive experience in developing
and driving strategic communications programs for a broad range
of technology companies-from market-leading multinational corporations,
including Hewlett-Packard, NEC and Hitachi, to emerging technology
leaders. George's PR background spans the PC, networking, semiconductor,
wireless, Internet, digital imaging, enterprise software, e-commerce,
telecommunications, and financial services markets.
Prior to joining Walt & Company, George held
management and senior public relations positions at Porter Novelli
Convergence Group (formerly Copithorne & Bellows), where he
was responsible for driving communications programs for HP's digital
imaging and consumer/commercial printer divisions. Before Porter
Novelli, George held PR and marketing positions with New Venture
Marketing and KQED in San Francisco, Calif.
George has experience as an audio/video technician,
and he holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of
California at Berkeley.
In his free time, George enjoys playing guitar,
listening to music, reading and playing golf.

Merritt Woodward
Merritt began her career in public relations and marketing communications
in 1995. She has extensive experience implementing and managing
communications programs, with a special focus on digital imaging
peripherals and technologies. Her background also includes document
imaging, e-commerce, digital media infrastructure/content delivery
and Web collaboration. For the past four years Merritt has supported
Epson's ink jet printer, digital camera, scanner and projector product
lines and helped launch over 75 digital imaging products. She also
manages all communications program activities for leadership development
provider, Ninth House.
Prior to joining Walt & Company, Merritt held
positions at Ketchum and Deen & Black Public Relations (recently
acquired by Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide), working on a variety
of technology and e-commerce accounts including Genentech, Kensington
and Visa USA.
Merritt holds a B.A in Journalism with an emphasis
in Public Relations, and an M.S. in Business Administration from
California State University, Chico.
While not in the office, Merritt enjoys cooking,
traveling, wakeboarding and hiking with her two year old Sheppard-mix,
Lucy.

Cyndi Babasa
Bringing over five years of experience to the Walt & Company team, Cyndi
provides strategic counsel, planning and media support on key accounts,
including Epson and Dell. Offering expertise in the digital imaging market
via her work with Epson, Cyndi has successfully implemented initiative
programs and managed all program aspects of the scanner, projector and
photo printer product lines. With a broad range of experience in the
enterprise hardware market, and specializing in mass storage, Cyndi has
also played an important role on the Dell team since its debut, and led
subsequent product launches and media events.
Prior to joining Walt & Company, Cyndi worked at Acuson Corporation
(now a Siemens Company) where her expertise focused on healthcare public
relations. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Santa Clara University.
In her spare time, Cyndi enjoys indoor soccer, teaching religious education
to youth in the community, and lounging on Sunday afternoons with her dogs,
Auggie and Rexx.

Jane Fainer
Jane brings over five years of public relations experience in varying
industries. She provides a multitude of experience in driving media
relations, as well as providing strategic creative insight and
implementation in regards to planning and communications program support.
Jane currently manages all program aspects of the consumer ink jet printer
and all-in-one product lines for Epson America. Jane also helps drive
ongoing programs for the National Retirement Planning Coalition (NRPC),
including the annual awareness campaign, National Retirement Planning Week.
Jane holds a B.A. in Communications Studies with a minor in Economics and
Business from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California.
In her free time, you will find Jane serving in her second job as volunteer
youth leader with her husband's youth group, with whom she has been known
to build homes for impoverished families in Tijuana, Mexico.
