Bob Walt
Founder and CEO
Bob started this agency in 1991 with the vision of creating a strategic public relations agency that could best meet the evolving needs of companies' marketing enterprise and consumer technology products and services. Today, as Walt & Company’s CEO, he is continually working to ensure that the agency never loses sight of this mission. He works closely with all Walt & Company client-service teams, acting as coach and mentor, and directly with clients providing PR and social media strategies and creative counsel.
Pre-Walt & Company, Bob ran the Silicon Valley office of Ketchum Public Relations, and before that was a vice president at Booke and Company, a NYC-based public relations and investor relations agency, where he headed the Booke Technology Group and managed consumer, financial service and IR programs. He has also worked in the NY office of Edelman, in the PR and Advertising Department at Equitable Life, and in Washington, D.C. at McLaughlin & Company, Public Policy Consultants. Bob has a BA in journalism and political science from the University of Michigan and earned a MS in communications from Boston University.
When not working or tinkering with technology, Bob enjoys skiing, drinking good wine, scuba diving, cooking, and is committed to one day significantly lowering his golf handicap.
