Info-One
Info-One, a developer of comprehensive management software and data services for expediting and tracking the sale of variable annuities, retained Walt & Company as its tech PR agency to help raise its profile within the financial services IT and software developer communities. Working as an extension of its marketing department, we developed a program that drove a steady stream of industry news, supported insurance carrier and distributor relationships, and leveraged a close relationship it had with the industry trade association representing all of the major variable annuity providers.
Results: The program generated widespread coverage in key industry and IT trade media. Based partially on the success of this effort, Info-One, formerly a Wachovia company, was acquired by its largest competitor that has since integrated its technology to become the dominant provider in this market.
