Logitech
Walt & Company was selected as the public relations agency by Logitech to help launch its new flagship products. To generate awareness and mindshare for Logitech's impressive new MX and VX Revolution mice, Walt & Company developed and managed an influencer program designed to support ongoing marketing and public relations efforts for the launch of the new products, and to sustain momentum following the initial product announcement. Bloggers active in discussions surrounding technology, productivity, ergonomics, and innovation were targeted. A process was developed to facilitate relations with these social media influencers and encourage positive discussions regarding the new mice.
Results: Through the program, we cultivated relationships with bloggers and social media influencers, and created a groundswell of interest through grassroots outreach efforts, which culminated in blog coverage across multiple market segments, including ergonomics, technology/gadgets, science, and law. In addition to generating media awareness, the program also opened the door to large corporate sales opportunities.
