Case Study:
Nanochip
Nanochip, a Silicon Valley start-up, brought in Walt & Company as its PR agency to help position and promote its new class of re-writable storage chips for computing, enterprise server and consumer electronics products based on microelectro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and nano-probe array technology. These new chips were designed to store tens of gigabytes of data per chip, or the equivalent of many high-definition feature-length videos. Walt & Company was tasked with developing a targeted yet high-impact public relations campaign to generate visibility of Nanochip’s forthcoming semiconductors among potential investors and customers, and to attract skilled nanotechnology engineers.
Results: The Nanochip PR program generated widespread coverage and anticipation for these innovative products in a wide range of storage, nano-technology and electronics media and blogs, and with business as well as IT media and analysts.
